Overview
This documentary is the outcome of original research conducted by Gabina on linguistic policies in Peru and the use of the Quechua language in the central Andes of Peru. Spectacular scenery of the majestic Andes and the town are brought to life in the documentary, which is accompanied by the music of Trio Huallanca, a local band. "Quechua – The Fading Inca Language" was created by Gabina Funegra and her daughter Erika Bonifaz, while conducting qualitive research in Huallanca, a remote mining town in the Peruvian Andes.
